I was very interested in the possiblility of reading about the development of the world's first Weblog, however the link provided by curtin showed 'access denied'.
Instead I went to CERN the address of the world's first web site and server, designed by Tim Berners-Lee in the late 1980's.
The system, set up as a tool to aid physicists in answering questions about the universe has developed in to over 80 million web sites with 100's of millions of users. According to what I read on the CERN site, "most households today hve computers not to comute, but to go on the web".
Fascinating - let's hope there will be some customers out there for me in my eventual "Under the Tree" web design business!
I'm excited about this module as I have always wanted to learn HTML and be able to create web sites. I have found my way around the world of Blog ok, and so moving on with enthusiasm now...............
