Well although I have spent a reasonable amount of time reading through this part of the unit, time has got the best of me and I have been reluctant to add much to my learning blog- no doubt it will lose me 'brownie points' but I need to focus on 'the essay' from here onwards.
The most important thing I have gained from Mod 5 has been reading over and over and over............ the 'concept documents' (Allen, n.d.).. I have printed out all the shortened versions and they are finally sinking in - the light bulb is flashing etc!
I've decided that my main theme for the essay will revolve around the fact that, there is no escaping the Internet in our modern world and to have a clear 'conceptual' understanding of how the 'Net works will definitely enhance a user's skills and knowledge.
I confess that I have not spent too much time on the P2P part of this unit as, although it has been interesting discovering the art of being able to download movies, songs etc it is not really my interest at this point in time.
I have been re reading the important document relating to plagiarism, and must make sure I get all my referencing correct this time for the essay.
Got to move on now................ so little time (the story of my life)
