Using Yahoo I sought out and joined a botanical art group and I am now awaiting an email confirmation to see if I have been accepted as worthy to join.

PURPOSE
Dedicated to the realistic portrayal and documentation of plants and flowers (the Botanical Arts) and natural science subjects (Naturalist Arts, Wildlife Arts, Scientific Illustration).

MEMBERSHIP
Restricted. ALL levels welcome but membership here is a privlege. You must introduce yourself upon joining or your name will be removed. Be a generous and active subscriber.

While our collective work will encompass a wide range of styles and mediums, be mindful of the narrow focus unique to this group. Add no more than (4) photos a day of:

1) Botanical Arts.
2) Naturalist/ Wildlife/ Marine Scientific Arts & Illustration.
3) Field Notes/Journals/Sketchbook Entries.
4) Photography.
5) Plein Air.
6) Artist Image.
7) Other-Inquire.

I received a lovely email from the 'moderator' who did not give a name, requesting a personal email in which I should give all my details and talk about myself.... Mmmm, not sure I will at this stage, still feel a little nervous about the authenticity of such communication.
